So you want to build a web page?  I have set up some easy steps to make it very easy for a first time web page builder.  Just follow along, and this should be painless.

#2  I recommend getting a FTP program, I personally dont like using the web file transfer systems.  I would recommend getting CuteFTP, you can download it from http://www.cuteftp.com  .  It is a great program.

#3  Unless you are a HTML guru, you should probably go with a web builder program, I like to use Microsoft Front Page 98.  It has a nice interface, I think this runs about 50 bucks last time i checked. 

#4  If you want some flashy graphics, you need the software.  I personally use Photoshop, with Eyecandy plugins, you can do really cool stuff with it.  You probably dont want to know how much it costs, *cough* 450$ *cough* .  If you are a student, or a faculty member at a school you can get it at educational discount for around 125$. 

This is all you need to build a basic web page, the best way to learn is by messing around, that is how i learned.  After you build your site, upload it, and your set.   The FTP address for Fortune City is ftp.fortunecity.com.
